Today's weather forecast tells me that it is going to be very stormy and windy and wet. It is still dry but I see dark clouds coming in already. I bet that when I take one step outside of the building, it is going to start raining. I wish it was summer. The weather nowadays only wants to keep me on my couch in my living room, under my blanket, with a nice cup of tea and my b/f next to me. Yeah, just like a married old couple. Although I have to admit I feel pretty old and tired this time of the year.

I bought chocolate chip cookies yesterday, yum. And I got a whole box of chocolate bonbons from my b/f. Sweet. :) Now I have a lot of chocolate.

I like NIN's Y34R Z3R0 R3MIX3D release. I have Ladytron's remix of The Beginning Of The End as a ringtone right now. It rocks so much I don't want to pick up the phone lol.

Hmm. Eating fresh longan at work. Sticky hands. But delicious.

I don't know what I have nowadays, but getting up early every day seems to be getting harder and harder. I always arrive pretty early at work, but today I was a bit late, just because I couldn't drag myself out of my nice and warm bed. But once you're awake, you're ok, you'd think. Unfortunately that's not the case. I slept all the way in the train to Rotterdam, and I slept all the way in a very crowded tram to the university (luckily I had a seat! haha!)... And I'm still tired. Don't know what it is. Looks like I need some days off to charge myself again or something. Get a good nice long sleep, and a relaxing day in my pyamas, doing nothing special. Yep. That's what I need.

And yesterday, I surprised my b/f with tickets to Kylie Minogue in Ahoy Rotterdam this summer. Because he's sweet, hehe.

This week we signed up for an extra Digital TV packet because we desperately want to get rid of 10 euros extra each month. Now we have 66 extra channels and 40 extra radio channels or something like that. Whooo now I can watch Dr. 90210 again at E! and check out four different Discovery Channels (Science, Travel&Living, Civilisation and the regular one!!). Nice.

Last week me and my friends went to have dinner and afterwards we wanted to go to Alien vs. Predator 2. But because we desperately wanted a dessert, we were too late for the movie and it was sold out. So we went to the casino instead.

And guess what, my b/f won a holiday! We weren't even aware that we won, because the message on the machine showed an error like kind of message, so we almost left until casino staff stopped us and told us that we won. We were so happy! We won a trip to Austria to go on a ski vacation. Ok I rather went to the sun, but hey, it's free and we get to spend 1000 euros on ski clothing so I'm not complaining. ;)

So in the first week of April, I'm skiing off a mountain.

I was walking through the city of the Hague, enjoying my free time I hardly ever have, until my b/f tricked me to get into this expensive store. I like some of the way too expensive stuff they have there, but I don't want to spend a lot of money sometimes (sometimes I do hehe), so actually I didn't want to go in. But off course, I did.

And all of a sudden I fell in love. I saw a brown leather Ipa Nima bag. And it was on sale. This must be a sign! I saw a sticker with 30% off. And then I saw the price, and to be honest, it was still way too expensive. So I went to the counter and tried to ask for more discount. Yeah I was shameless. But it didn't work.

So I just bought it with the 30% discount, with all of my birthday money. (uh huh yeah you can all say giving money as a birthday present is thoughtless, but it's the most useful gift I got for my last birthday!)

And in the end, I can thank my b/f for tricking me into the store. (just because he wanted to drool over the Hugo Boss collection...)

And it's 2008, happy new year!

I don't really have any new year's resolutions and stuff, but this year is going to be totally different. I am going to be happy, I want to make other people happy. I don't want to worry about things anymore. I don't want to argue about stupid, unimportant stuff. I refuse to get hurt by what people might say to me. This year, I am in control of my life, growing stronger and stronger everyday. I want to grow in my faith, self-conscious and strong. I can do it.

And I would like to buy a new laptop, and go on a vacation far far away.

This is going to be a fun year.
