I'm almost going on holidays! I feel a bit guilty because I just started my new job and all, but they say they don't mind so I'm happy about that. And after my holidays it's also almost time for Lowlands! I hope the programme will be announced soon because I want to know which bands play where and when! Hope to see NIN play on a proper time, hope they're not the last band to play the festival. :(

Anyway the weather is starting to get nice all of a sudden (off course because I will be going to Spain next week I guess! grr) so maybe me and my b/f can go on a nice shopping trip just before we leave for Spain. He needs some shorts. And I just need clothes, as always hehe.

We went to my grandfather's grave yesterday. I haven't been there in a while but I still remember the place. When we arrived at his stone, it still looked the same as I remembered a few years ago. The stone says "Jesus is alive!" with my grandfather's name and initials, and the dates. We brought my grandfather some flowers, which my dad planted next to the stone. My nephew read a letter to grandpa, which my dad has written. After that, we made some pictures. I thought that was a little awkward. Me and my b/f. my sister, my nephew and my aunt, my grandma and my parents, along with grandpa in the form of a gravestone. I didn't know whether to smile or not.

Ticket inspector must be a real shit job to have.

I just got home from seeing the new Harry Potter movie in the cinema in Rotterdam. When we went home with the train, we were sitting next to a young guy and his girlfriend. A few minutes later, the ticket inspector came to check our tickets. Off course, me and my b/f had valid tickets. The young girl next to us also had a valid ticket. But her boyfriend, a young guy I suspect from being a rebel and just a pain in the ass, didn't. He had a ticket without a valid date stamped on it. So the ticket inspector wanted to give him a fine and they had some words. The guy also didn't bring his ID and after a few minutes they both got angry. The ticket inspector told the guy to get out of the train, and so he did. His girlfriend came after him off course, and when they stood outside they started fighting.

Glad I'm not a ticket inspector. I'm way too chicken for that.

Grrr. I'm sick again. And yes, I do eat enough vegetables. It's just this crappy so called summer weather; it's cold and rainy everyday for some reason.

My throat hurts, I have a cold and a headache, and I don't look too good right now. People are actually telling me to go home from work right now. But it's friday. Almost weekend. Almost time for bed. I have to go blow my nose right now.

Otrivin is my best friend today.

This weekend we went to a birthday party and my b/f had the brilliant idea to go to the party with a bike. Yes. Just one bike. So he was driving the bike and I sat on the back. This was such a bad idea, not only did my ass hurt like hell, the next day my whole body suffered from pain! I guess I was hanging on way too tight off course, afraid to fall off. Anyway. After this horrible exercise, we finally arrived. At the birthday party I consumed some alcohol, which also was a bit of a bad idea because for some reason I got nauseous.

But other than that, I really enjoyed my weekend. And now back to work.

I went to see Transformers yesterdaynight. The movie was cool, the effects and stuff were awesome, the story is ok (but that's a common thing for like every action movie, great action, average story but oh well). The movie came out yesterday in The Netherlands and it was completely sold out. Luckily we could get a hold of two tickets, so that was great. The only thing I really don't understand (and never will I think) is the people who went to the movie. The nerds all started clapping when the movie wasn't even started yet, and they all started screaming when the Harry Potter trailer accidentaly stopped. I thought that was really annoying.

This is my second working day at my new employer, the Erasmus University, and I really enjoy it. I have very nice co-workers and I really like the environment. I also like the tasks that I have to do, my work really is more in the direction of communication instead of IT and I really like that. I almost gave up my hope and I thought I would be stuck in IT forever, but thing's have changed fortunately. I got what I really wanted. Yes I am satisfied now, finally I have a new job that I like.

It only sucks that I have to pay like 1560 euro's to my old employer. :(

Today I was a bit moody. I guess it's just my pms. Anyway, that negative energy wasn't really helping me through the day.

After my bodystep class and a quick shower I went to the Hague to get Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer. I fell in love with it last week and decided not to buy it because I ran out of money already (yeah it has gone that quick for some reason...), but today I just decided I didn't care. Enjoy life and stuff. (ok I just wanted to cheer myself up, all right)

So I went to the Chanel counter in this big warehouse and I said to the lady at the counter, "Can I get one of these, please?" and I pointed at the colour named Big Bang. It's nice, shimmery, but yet subtle. Seriously a great colour, a bit peachy on my lips. Anyway. The lady looks at me and says "That's 22.50 euro's." So I look at her and expect her to get my new favorite colour but she does... nothing? Really weird. I know I don't look at my best after my bodystep class and without any make up on my face, but hey, I don't look like a total bum now do I? A little bit irritated I reply "Yeah I know, I just want to buy this colour." And yes finally, she understands what I'm saying and she gets the stuff for me. After I paid for it with the money I actually don't have, I quickly leave the store. When I got outside, I was curious to see what kind of sample the lady has given me. It was Allure. Allure homme sport. HOMME SPORT. Ok I know I have a boyfriend, a father, whatever, there are men I can give this sample to, but omg I thought it was so mean of her to give me a men's scent. She must have known I wanted to try something new and she just did this on purpose. :( And as if it wasn't enough already, I got called arrogant by a group of Indonesian guys. They said it in Bahasa Indonesia, like I wouldn't hear them. Like I wouldn't understand them if I would! And I did! I heard it and I knew what I was called. This was such a bad day. :( (yeah I'm a real whiner when I'm suffering from my pms)

But I like my new lipgloss.
