I visited my parents with Christmas, so that was a great chance to get missing episodes from The OC season 4. My sister downloads it weekly or whatever, and I just copy it on my iPod once in a while. So I decided to watch the episodes yesterday, I had to watch number 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 (Yeah that many, lol). But guess what. I forgot to copy 4!!!!! Argh. So ok, no worries, I'll just download it myself, I thought. And then I went to a torrent site search for the oc s04e04 and download the first torrent I saw. That was so wrong.

I now have the OC season 4 episode 4 with French subtitles. Hooray, I always wanted to see what Seth was actually saying in FRENCH. Oh well, it is not that bad, not as bad as the time my sister downloaded the French version of Blade II, the synchronized version. Haha.

So this was Christmas. We ate dinner at my parent's house and we had a Christmas breakfast at the house of my b/f's parents. It was nice. I ate a lot. But that's ok. Because next year, a new sportschool's opening its doors! Finally! And this time I'm seriously going to sport as never before. (ok, I'm lucky if I have the discipline to go four times a week, but we'll see)

And what is it with people watching reruns of Lord of the Rings? One, two and three. They broadcasted it on 24th, 25th and 26th of december and my family wanted to watch it. Desperately. Again. Ok I guess it's better than Jingle all the way for the 45th time, but hey, there are limits.

With New Year's Eve we're going to my b/f's family. I used to get so exited about these events when I was a kid - fireworks, staying up all night, unhealthy snacks... But right now, I don't really care about it.

I wish you all a very merry Christmas! I'm going to pack some presents tonight for my family. And I'm going to relax, turn up the central heating, and check out what's on tv tonight. (probably not much, but oh well) It's so cold outside. :(

I went to the city The Hague today to buy some presents. It was way too cold and crowded to have fun shopping, so I'm glad I'm home now.

I made an appointment with the dentist. Finally yes, it's a shame, I should've done this earlier, it's almost a year ago!

But when I called the practice, I was disappointed. My favorite dentist left! (yeah I have a favorite dentist, weird huh. I just decided she's my favorite dentist, because she's so sweet and caring and stuff. And I like sweet and caring people.) So the woman on the other side of the phone told me she left, and I could get another dentist. She tells me there's a new dentist in their practice, and that he's very good, blablabla. With disappointment in my voice I made an appointment and I hung up the phone. I made an appointment on March 16th, when Nine Inch Nails will be performing in 013 Tilburg. Hehe. I did that on purpose. In case my work decides to station me in an office located in an awful traffic jam area. So I can go straight to NIN after the dentist's!

Anyway. I decided to google my old dentist, just for fun. Yes googling is an actual word, at least, that's what someone told me. I am not that familiar with its spelling though. Is it googling, googleing, google-ing perhaps? I google, he googles, do you google? Oh well who cares. So I typed in here name in the search bar and hit search. And there she was! First search result! She moved to The Hague in an other practice! I couldn't believe my eyes, there she was!! I found her!!! Her new dentist practice had a website, with her on the front page. And they're searching for new patients too! This must be some kind of sign. I have to go back!

So right now I am considering to cancel my dentist appointment.

Wireless internet. I love it. I am sitting in my pyamas on our couch, with my Macbook on my lap. And I am enjoying this moment.

Ok I suddenly realized that's not true. My enjoyment's gone and I am thinking about my future. I have a degree in ICT (God know why and how I did this - especially WHY I did this), and I have a job. In ICT. But I don't want to work in ICT until my retirement. The only problem is, what do I want. I don't know, and there's no one I can ask.

That kinda sucks.

Back to my couch moment.

I forgot to brag talk about other presents people gave me. I got a book from my grandma. I got a drawing and a pink saucepan from my parents. I got candles from my aunt. I got candles from a friend. (yeah I don't know what that's about, I really like the presents seriously :P I am just wondering lol)

Oh and I forgot to take the liquor cake out, and now I'm stuck with one whole cake. I guess I have to eat it alone. My b/f doesn't like alcohol. :( But I don't like getting an overdose of calories. But I also don't like to waste good food. Gee. What to do.

Next week's Christmas!!!!! Whooo!!! No work - just sleep and eat. I like that.

Yesterday was my birthday. I really have no idea why I used to count the days off until my birthday when I was little. Although I'm thankful for another year, it's nothing special really. But it's nice to know people haven't forgotten you. :) Birthday attention is always fun. Thanks everyone!!!!

Yesterday I got my first birthday present from my best friend while we tried to consume an enormous mass of dim sum LOL. I got some cute things like a Kuromi pen and a Little Twin Stars calendar just to name a few <33333 whooo. :)

This week a lot of family and friends asked me what I want for my birthday. I don't know what to answer (except for instant happiness and financial independency - but hey who can buy that), but I like the fact that there are people who care about me.

WHOOO. My Macbook has arrived and I am currently typing this message on it. :)

My undeveloped muscles ache like crazy, even more than yesterday. My arms and my back... I can't use them to their fullest! I didn't even know I used these muscles that much. Coughing, turning my body, opening a door, resting my arms on the desk, pulling my pants up: it all hurts. Ouch. And I still have eight hours to go until weekend. :(

I want to shop tonight and buy myself a new bag, but it rains so much today and it's cold and windy. :( Hope it'll be over tonight. Otherwise I'll just go home, eat dinner, get into pyamas and play Wii Sports Smash Brothers or Soul Calibur II all night long with my luvvrrrr hehehe.

Omg I hate this. My iPod is out of batteries and I am at work and my adapter is at home and it's not even one o'clock yet. This is going to be a long day.

Yesterday my b/f and I had the chance to pick up the Wii, yes that's right, two days before its official release in the Netherlands. Boxing is fun, but right now my back and my arms hurt because I wanted to be such a fanatic yesterdaynight. We also got some gamecube games we can play on the Wii.

And I still suck at Soul Calibur II. Some things never change.

Anyway. I just heard some very unpleasant news - and that's an understatement. I mean, when I quit my job as a cashier, I thought it'd be over with working until 9 PM. Guess I'm wrong. After next weekend, I will be spending the first three days in an office for 36 hours. How inhumane is that.

My laptop has been shipped! Although it didn't leave Chine yet, but oh well, it is one step closer to its destination! ( = MEEEE)

I remember when I was still in college, I couldn't wait to get out, have my degree, and start earning some real money.

While in college, I complained about the things I had to do for school, and I also worked as a cashier, to earn some money while studying. My dad always said that I had to enjoy the fact that I went to school, because, he says, work even sucks more. (although he enjoys his job, he still really said this to me lol) In some way I tried to enjoy college, and it really was fun with all my friends there and stuff, but I also wanted to get out real quick. Maybe that's also because I didn't really like my study anymore, I don't know, but anyway. Four and a half years later, I got my degree, stopped being a cashier, moved out of my parent's house, got out and started working for 40 hours a week. And that's the point where I realize that my dad was not only right, he was VERY VERY VERY right. Righter than right. And I wished I could relive my student time again.

Although I would cry if they refused to give me my degree after my final project. But oh well.

This year was a pretty lousy concert year. I think I only went to the Lowlands festival and that's it. I can't recall any exciting live shows, so I guess if I had seen a few bands this year, they didn't really impress me. But next year's going to be different!!!! And I want to share my happiness with the world today, my friends.

WHOOHOO. It first starts in january, when I get to see Johan in The Hague. I like the fact that they're playing in the Hague, it's not far from our home hehe. And march is going to be even more awesome, because it first starts with two (YES TWO!!!!!!) live shows of NIN!!! I've only seen Nine Inch Nails once, and that was on a festival so it was actually too massive, too many people, etc. So finally I have a chance to see them real good, hope I can get to the front row! Ok and after NIN there's Deftones! So yeah. Next year starts really well.

I went to the Chinese hairdresser to get rid of my dead ends. So I thought he'd just cut off a bit, instead of a lot. When he was ready to show me my way too short haircut, I just didn't know what to say. I mean, it's not like he can glue it all back on, so I said it was ok. It really was ok, I like the way he cuts, but it was just too short. Like at every hairdresser, Chinese or not. Oh well. I don't like my cold hair hanging against my back when I get out of the shower at home anyways, so I guess it's ok for this winter... Hmm.

Although I won't be going to the hairdresser again until it's spring.
